Sharon in Pechanga

Hello everyone! I am writing this from my bedroom at Pechanga Resort & Casino. I’ve been told that all tickets for tonight’s concert and all room+show ticket packages have been sold out (!!!) and so I can’t tell you how very happy I am right this minute! The only thing is — the U.S. Embassy in Manila didn’t release my musical director Louie Ocampo’s passport in time (of course typhoon Falcon definitely contributed to this problem too, plus it was a weekend pa), so now I don’t have my Louie to play for me tonight, but he immediately got in touch with Tateng Katindig, a great musical director based in Los Angeles, to play for me tonight. Poor Tateng had to rehearse my whole repertoire overnight then! I have yet to meet him. I will be having lunch right after I post this message and then will shower and get ready na for rehearsals. Wow. Jetlagging and all. I was supposed to arrive the other night, June 23, and have all day yesterday to rest and sleep and not talk at all. But our flight to L.A. was cancelled and a special flight had to be set for all us passengers the next day at 2:30pm. So I arrived yesterday, still June 24th here, at past 12noon, and immediately took our bus to Pechanga just outside of San Diego. One of my best(est) friends Aileen drove here last night and slept with me in my room so we both were feeling like teenagers again! Of course I was knocked out when she arrived, having had no sleep on the plane at all. But I woke up around midnight and we stayed up a couple of hours making kuwento. Hope you’re all okay and please, please, pray for my voice and Tateng’s playing later. I miss Louie so much but am grateful Tateng’s here. God bless you all and I miss you! Love you always, Sharon.:-)

We were there last night with the packed crowd. As fans, we will not forget you. The first time our family met you was in the late 80′s at MAX Restaurant, Los Angeles California with Mayor Herbert Bautista, and Tonton. We have been fans for quite some time. You’ve brought Angeline Quinto an outstanding star and enyoyed every minute watching and listiening to her outstanding singing voice. Angeline, keep being real and humble and you’ll go far…you’ve gain a fan from our family.
Another outstanding concert with our MEGA Sharon. Of course, as usual, my husband, Mario cheering besides me. My husband and I are true Sharonian forever. Thank you for your talent. Such a genuine person. Come back to Temecula. We love you Sharon.
