Hi, everyone!

I hope this letter (yes, yes I know – it’s taken me ages again!) finds you all well and happy.

I am typing this in my hotel suite in Vancouver, Canada, where I have just finished my last of three concerts here (first one was in Calgary, second in Edmonton, then the third and last for now, here in Vancouver earlier tonight.). I am sooooooo tired, as you can imagine – and only the adrenalin that is pumped up during and after a concert is keeping me up! Salamat sa Diyos na napakabuti sa amin, nakaraos na uli ako at ang mga co-performers ko! My special guest was Ms. Candy Pangilinan. Kahit di siya naging kamag-anak ni Kiko, fan talaga nya na ako!!! She’s so witty – and that is a sure sign of intelligence. Ang saya-saya ng audience kanina. Also in Calgary and in Edmonton. Maraming, maraming salamat po sa inyo dito sa Canada na nakapanood po sa amin! Kita-kita po sana tayo uli!

To all of you in Manila, will be home this week.:-) Straight back to work. Oh I forgot nga pala to make you balita!!! I started shooting na my new movie (my first since “CRYING LADIES” and my pregnancy with and delivery of MIEL!!!) under Star Cinema, entitled “CAREGIVER.” This is NOT the movie I was supposed to shoot with Aga Muhlach in London (I had to mention it here dahil nakakagulat po na ang daming nag-aakalang yon yon!) – but my first-ever under the direction of Chito Rono (this is a dream-come-true for me. Been wanting to do a movie with him since 1992 when my beloved “Ate,” Lorna Tolentino, won a Grand Slam for “Narito ang Puso Ko” under Direk Chito’s guidance. He was also the brains behind Lorna and Dawn’s “PATAYIN SA SINDAK SI BARBARA,” and Kris’ “FENG SHUI” and Kris and Claudine’s “SUKOB.” At napakarami pang iba! This film WILL take us to London and Prague for a good two to three weeks of filming also. We will be filming in Manila and Pampanga first, though, for a few weeks as well, before flying off to Europe.

I want to write more but my eyes are closing na! Have to eat a LATE dinner and then remove my make-up and take a bath and then say a heartfelt prayer of thanks for the success of all my three Canada concerts. Exciting din kasi first time ako nagperform abroad with Louie Ocampo as my Musical Director!

Maraming salamat po uli, Canada! And wherever you may be in the Philippines and the rest of the world as you read this, thanks so very much also for your love and continued support!
